 Welcome to Write Notes,

    Writing and being published can be a tremendous
undertaking. I hope you can use the resources offered
on this site in the pursuits of your dreams. It is my
sincerest hope that you can gain some knowledge you
can use.

    I've also included space for writers to showcase
their talents in hopes that they can gain some amount
of recognition. Please feel free to contact me if you
would like to be included in this exposition of works.

    In the not too distant future we have plans to
start a magazine to further show the works of new talent.
Keep watching this site for further information. You
may want to submit your work for this venture. There is
no such thing as too much exposure for a writer.

Vic Mooney has many years experience as a
reporter on regional newspapers in UK. As a
director of Peter Douglas Publishing he has
published several biographies, crime and fantasy
works. He was editor of 'Storyteller', the short
story magazine and has critiqued and reviewed
various works of fiction.


His approach to new writers is: ‘Anyone can write
a book. Those that actually do complete a manuscript
have performed a mental marathon and deserve the
